Troubleshoot fan failures in the cooling system of the engine powertrain
The fan is generally installed at the upper end of the cooling system of the engine powertrain, and some customers choose to install it on the side according to regulations. For screw chillers that use fans to dissipate heat, they are called air-cooled screw chillers. The natural environment for installation must be wide and the gas is easy to circulate, so that it will not easily harm the air-cooled screw chillers. The actual cooling effect.
As for those belonging to mechanical equipment, there will undoubtedly be some common faults during the whole process of installation or application. So, what are the common problems with the fans of air-cooled screw chillers? How should the company clear it?
1. The noise of the air-cooled screw chiller is too loud:
1. The bearing component is worn out/excessive gap: if it is worn out, it should be dismantled and replaced immediately, if the gap is too large, it can be adjusted to a suitable position immediately;
2. The speed ratio is too high: it can be improved by reducing the speed ratio. If it has not been processed, the fan should be removed and replaced;
2. The temperature of the motor of the air-cooled screw chiller fan is too high:
1. The total flow exceeds the rated current: the gate valve can be adjusted at this time;

3. The temperature of the bearing of the air-cooled screw chiller fan is too high:
1. Insufficient grease (grease) or poor quality: If insufficient grease is added, the company should fill the oil to the required position; if the quality is poor, the bearing should be cleaned and then replaced with the grease that meets the standard (fat);
2. The fan shaft and the motor shaft are not the same: they should be adjusted in the same boat;
3. The bearing is damaged: At this time, a new bearing should be disassembled, or the chiller manufacturer should be contacted immediately for dismantling and replacement;
4. The exhaust air volume of the air-cooled screw chiller fan is too small:
1. Check whether the rotation direction of the centrifugal impeller is reversed. This can be dealt with by replacing the position of the two wires of the motor at will;
2. Insufficient opening degree of the gate valve, too loose transmission belt and insufficient speed ratio: It can already be enlarged to a suitable opening degree according to the adjustment gate valve, tightening or dismantling the transmission belt, and checking the working voltage to check the bearing;
3. Blockage of the air supply or vents and pipes: check the air supply/vents and eliminate the blockages;
4. It may be that the connection between the centrifugal impeller and the shaft is loose, which can be removed by tightening immediately; if the gap between the centrifugal impeller and the air inlet is too large, it should be adjusted to a suitable gap.
The fan of the air-cooled screw chiller is equivalent to the closed cooling tower refrigeration system of the water-cooled chiller. If the actual effect of heat removal is not good, then the air-conditioning capacity of the air-cooled screw chiller is definitely not enough, which will immediately harm the company Requirements for refrigerated water.
