1.High Pressure Protection
When the sensor detects that the compressor exhaust pressure exceeds the normal value, it will activate the pressure switch to prevent the compressor from being damaged due to overpressure.
2.Low Pressure Protection
The chiller will automatically detect the suction pressure, and will alarm and shut down if it is lower than the set value. This can prevent the evaporator from freezing and the compressor from idling.
3.Anti-Freeze Protection
When the return water temperature is too low or the flow rate is too slow, the evaporator may freeze due to the low temperature. The temperature sensor can detect the water temperature and automatically shut down when it is lower than the set value to prevent equipment damage caused by freezing.
4.Phase Protection
Chillers often use three-phase power with a fixed phase sequence. When one phase of the three-phase power is not connected or the phase sequence is wrong, the phase sequence relay will detect the phase abnormality and shut down immediately. This prevents compressor reversal, motor burnout and other faults caused by phase errors.
5.Motor Overload Protection
In the case of unstable voltage, poor heat dissipation, excessive load, etc., the current passing through the motor will be too large. The thermal relay or electronic protection module will detect the current passing through the motor in real time, and will automatically shut down if an abnormality is found to avoid burning the motor.
6.Compressor Motor Overheat Protection
In the case of poor ventilation, low refrigerant, etc., the temperature of the compressor motor will rise. If it cannot be controlled in time, it will burn out the equipment. The chiller has a built-in thermistor or temperature probe, and it will automatically shut down when the temperature exceeds the normal value.
7.Return Water Overheat Protection
When the return water is overheated, it will increase the burden on the equipment and reduce the cooling efficiency. The water temperature sensor can detect the water temperature and shut down when the temperature is abnormal.
8.Oil Pressure Protection
To prevent excessive wear and poor operation of the compressor, it is necessary to ensure that there is sufficient lubricating oil. When it is detected that the pressure difference on both sides of the oil pump is lower than the normal value, the protection function will be activated.
9.Flow Protection
When the liquid flow switch detects that the flow entering the evaporator is too low, it will automatically shut down and sound an alarm.
10.Fluid Level Protection
When an abnormal liquid level in the chilled water system is detected, the liquid level protection function will be activated..
11.Earth Leakage Protection
When the leakage protector detects abnormal current, it will automatically cut off the power supply to prevent safety accidents caused by leakage.
12.Safety Valve
Safety valve is a passive pressure relief device. When the system fails due to high pressure but the power supply is not cut off in time, the mechanical spring safety valve will work. It can automatically release pressure when the pressure exceeds the standard to prevent explosion.
