Molecular distillation (Short range distillation)
Short range distillation (molecular distillation) is a new separation technology that can solve problems that conventional distillation techniques cannot solve. It can achieve liquid-liquid separation at temperatures far below the boiling point of liquids under extremely high vacuum, based on the difference in the average free path of molecular motion. Especially suitable for the separation and purification of high boiling point, thermosensitive, and easily oxidized materials.

Product Description
Main application fields: food, medicine, fine chemicals, electronic materials, plastic engineering and the separation and purification of polymers (such as polyols, fatty acids, polyphenols, polyurethane, epoxy resin, lactic acid, monoglyceride, essence, heavy oil and paraffin oil).
Work characteristics and principles:
1.The operating temperature is much lower than the boiling point of the material. Thermally sensitive materials, biological acid esters, high boiling point substances, and materials that are difficult to evaporate have great advantages in processing
2.The heating time is extremely short. Ordinary distillation requires several hours of heating, which can be completed in just a few seconds on short range distillation. It is low-carbon, environmentally friendly, and beneficial for maintaining material activity
3.It belongs to the physical separation process, which can maintain the natural state of the material and prevent contamination. Widely used for deodorization, decolorization, and purification of high value-added materials.
